Part-Time, Infant & Toddler Nanny, Kirkland
A warm and welcoming Kirkland (Lake Park) family is seeking a nurturing, engaging, and well-rounded nanny to support their busy household. They have a bright and energetic 2-almost-3-year-old daughter and 6-month-old son. Dad works from home, and mom is home two days a week. They’re looking for someone comfortable with WFH parents, who loves creating engaging activities, outdoor adventures, and can build a meaningful, long-term relationship with their family.
Job Details:
(24 Hours Guaranteed A Week)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8 AM – 2 PM; occasional Fridays: 8 AM - 12 PM (Requested 2 weeks in advance)
Living Situation: Live-Out
Position: Part-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: Latest September 8th
Children: 6-Month-Old (Boy) and 3-Year-Old (Girl)
Pets: Two Small Dogs
Pay: $31-37+ per Hour (Depending on Experience & Fit)
Commitment: long-term (1-year contract)

Responsibilities Include:
Create engaging, age-appropriate play activities and outings
Supporting toddler emotional development and communication
Providing attentive, nurturing care for infant and toddler, supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate interaction and play.
Assisting with toddler routines (Snack, Nap, Play)
Maintaining the infant's daily routine, including feedings, diaper changes, naps, bottle preparation, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.
Preparing simple toddler meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks)
Preschool pick-up at 12:30 PM
Child-related dishwashing
Baby and toddler laundry
Maintaining a tidy play area
Light Meal prep for household

A self-starter who can confidently take initiative
Experience with preschool drop-off and pick-up
Experienced with diapering, bathing, soothing techniques, and recognizing infant cues and needs
Proactive in planning developmentally appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, language development, and early learning.
Strong communicator who provides regular updates on feeding, sleep, milestones, and
daily activities.
Organized and detail-oriented, maintaining infant-related tasks such as bottle washing
and sterilization, nursery organization, child laundry, and restocking supplies.
Someone who is creative and fun and can help tackle toddler and infant challenges
with consistency and patience.
Requirements
Have a minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience as a full-time or consistently dedicated childcare provider with infants and toddlers
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Successfully pass a comprehensive Level 2 background check
Provide strong childcare references demonstrating dependability, communication skills, timeliness, and emotional maturity (At Least 3)
Exhibit a nurturing, child-friendly personality
Take initiative while respecting and aligning with the family’s parenting style and methods
Demonstrate strong oral and written English communication skills, including email
communication
Infant and Child CPR/First Aid certified, with the ability to remain calm and responsive
in emergencies
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to safely transport children
Ability to work with dogs in the home
Maintain a professional and polished appearance
