Part-Time, Infant Nanny, West Seattle
First-time parents are looking for a warm, nurturing nanny to become a meaningful part of their family’s village. With their sweet 15-week-old baby, they are hoping to find someone who genuinely loves children and finds fulfillment in watching them learn, grow, and reach new milestones. Job Details:
(20 Hours Guaranteed A Week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 11 AM – 3 PM
Living Situation: Live-Out
Position: Part-Time, Short-Term, Transitional
Start Date: ASAP
Children: 3-Month-Old (Girl)
Pay: $31-33+ per Hour (Depending on Experience & Fit)
Commitment: Short-Term (October 31st). The family is open to transitioning to a full-time, long-term position in January.

Responsibilities Include:
Provide attentive, loving care for one infant
Support feeding schedules, naps, and daily routines
Be creative in creating age-appropriate activities to foster early learning
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the baby
Assist with baby-related laundry, bottles, and nursery organization
Track feedings, sleep, and developmental updates as requested
Offer guidance and reassurance to first-time parents when appropriate
Facilitate tummy time, sensory activities, and developmental play
Maintain open and professional communication with parents
Support the establishment of healthy routines and sleep habits
When age-appropriate, take the infant on outings such as little gym, story-time, and outdoor walks

Exhibits a strong passion and genuine love for caring for children
Warm, nurturing, patient, and attentive, creating a secure and loving environment that supports healthy emotional development and awareness.
Experienced with diapering, bathing, soothing techniques, and recognizing infant cues and needs.
Experience working in homes with WFH parents
Someone who values being part of a family’s village and genuinely enjoys building a lasting, meaningful relationship with the family.
Proactive in planning developmentally appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, language development, and early learning.
Strong communicator who provides regular updates on feeding, sleep, milestones, and daily activities.
Organized and detail-oriented, maintaining infant-related tasks such as bottle washing and sterilization, nursery organization, baby laundry, and restocking supplies.
Someone who is creative and fun and can help tackle infant challenges with consistency and patience.
Requirements
Have a minimum of 3+ years of professional childcare experience as a full-time or consistently dedicated childcare provider with infants and toddlers
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Successfully pass a comprehensive Level 2 background check
Provide strong childcare references demonstrating dependability, communication skills, timeliness, and emotional maturity (At Least 3)
Exhibit a nurturing, child-friendly personality
Take initiative while respecting and aligning with the family’s parenting style and methods
Demonstrate strong oral and written English communication skills, including email
communication
Infant and Child CPR/First Aid certified, with the ability to remain calm and responsive
in emergencies
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to safely transport children
Maintain a professional and polished appearance
