This welcoming and busy Seattle family is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Family Assistant to become a trusted part of their household.
With three children — a 15-year-old and 9-year-old daughters and 12-year-old son, this family has an active schedule filled with school, club soccer, work, and activities. They are looking for someone who can step in, take ownership of household tasks, and help keep their home organized and running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will be someone who naturally notices what needs to be done, takes initiative, and genuinely enjoys creating order in a busy household.

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Flexible Hours
Guaranteed Hours: 15 per week
Living Situation: Live-Out
Position: Part-Time, Long-Term Contract (1-year-contract)
Start Date: ASAP Children: 15-year-old (Girl), 12-year-old (Boy), 9-year-old (Girl)
Pay: $25,000 per year (About $32 per hour)
Commitment: 1-year-contract
Responsibilities Include:
Resetting and tidying the home
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
Keeping household areas organized
Tidying and resetting common areas
Walking the family dog
Helping care for the dog on the family’s longer days away from home
Handling household returns and errands
Helping maintain an organized and functional home
Identifying household tasks that need attention and taking initiative to complete them
Supporting the family in keeping the household running smoothly throughout the week
Occasionally handle pick up or drop off of children
About the Family
The younger two children are involved in club soccer, creating a busy and active weekly schedule.
Both parents work from home on Mondays and Fridays and occasionally on Wednesdays.
The family is looking for someone who can provide consistent household support during the week while the family balances work, school, and activities.

The family also has a dog and is looking for someone comfortable providing basic support with their pet.

Requirements
Have a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Family Assistant,
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Successfully pass a comprehensive Level 2 background check
Provide at least 3 strong professional references demonstrating reliability, dependability, communication skills, initiative, and professionalism
Exhibit a proactive, independent, and organized personality with the ability to recognize what needs to be done without constant direction
Demonstrate strong time-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple household tasks
Be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities within the home
Demonstrate strong oral and written English communication skills, including professional email communication
Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for household errands and returns
Be comfortable with the family dog
Be trustworthy, respectful, and comfortable working inside a private family home
Maintain a professional and polished appearance
Be interested in building a long-term relationship with the family
